As part of our efforts to celebrate the International Women’s day, One2Ten Development Initiative is partnering with Nma Gold Child
Initiative to provide pads for school girls to build up their confidence as women.

Girls are forced to miss out on school (3-5 days) when they menstruate because they can’t afford sanitary towels during their period. The Pad up a Girl Campaign is aimed at providing free sanitary pad kits and training young women on how to use sanitary pads. In addition, they benefit from interactive educational sessions on puberty, menstruation, personal hygiene, sexual health, and STIs during each training.

This program aims at achieving the following main goals:

Goal 1. Girls will not have to miss school simply because they are menstruating.

Goal 2. Girls should feel free and comfortable even during their menstruation period.
